Virtually maintenance-free

One of the reasons to install artificial turf is to not have to take care of maintenance, artificial turf is virtually maintenance free. But if you want your grass to look better and stay in better condition for longer, we recommend a series of basic care or, if you wish, you can hire one of our professional maintenance services.

Basic care

Extending the life of your grass and improving its appearance is as easy as following these tips. If you need more information about the characteristics of our artificial turf, please contact our experts, you will receive personalized advice.
Brushing the grass
Brush artificial turf periodically. Doing it in the opposite direction to the direction of the fibers, we will lift them and clean the deposited organic matter. We will also reposition the silica sand.
Water it
Watering it once a month or every two months would be enough and this will help us to keep it clean. In summer, we can do it more frequently as this will lower the temperature. Moisture is deposited in the silica sand and maintains the usual freshness of a natural grass. Watering is not recommended if temperatures are below freezing because ice can wear away the latex base over the years.
Sanitizing perfume
From time to time it is advisable to apply a sanitizing perfume to prevent bugs or bacteria from settling on the grass.
We recommend applying our product, which not only ensures a bacteria-free grass, but also gives it the smell of freshly mowed grass.
Silica sand replenishment
With rain and traffic, sand can accumulate in one place, shift, or even decrease in quantity. It is therefore advisable to replace it. Thus, the turf will remain upright. Before starting, brush the surface. Subsequently, apply the new layer to fill the empty spaces and thus take care of the load level, which has to be equal. Finally, brush again to redistribute the sand so that it remains embedded in the base. To finish, water the grass lightly to remove the dust from the sand.
